Hi, I’m Courtney and I am the lead designer and creator of The Core Creative. We are based in Northland; however our services extend to the Greater North Island. I was born and raised in Brisbane Australia, where I completed my Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration. My career throughout this time and following was solidly based around creativity; working in high-end Australian fashion, premium European designed commercial furniture, then once relocated to Sydney, an Australasian commercial interiors firm. We moved to New Zealand in 2019 and I worked for much of that time as the Senior Interior Designer for an Auckland based interior design and procurement studio, specialising in hotels, retail and aged-care. During this time my fiancé and I renovated and sold our Auckland home and relocated to a piece of land in the quaint town of Paparoa, where we now live the dream, along with our four dogs, cows and veggie garden.

I started The Core Creative as I believe in the importance of presenting yourself as your best possible version, and this extends to your property. The power of a space that reflects who you are to the core, and to live everyday within that environment is impowering, motivating and a beautiful way to live your best life.
